Terms of Use — Cellar Sesame

1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Cellar Sesame (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. The Service
Cellar Sesame is a wine cellar management app for iOS. A free tier and a paid subscription (“Cellar Sesame Premium”) are available. The subscription is billed monthly through your Apple ID account. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You must not use the app for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these terms.
4. AI Sommelier
The AI sommelier feature provides suggestions based on your cellar data. These are recommendations only and do not constitute professional advice of any kind. Cellar Sesame accepts no liability for decisions made based on the sommelier’s output.
5. Intellectual Property
The app, its design, and its content are owned by Cellar Sesame. Your cellar data remains yours. You grant Cellar Sesame a limited licence to process your data solely to operate the service.
6. Account Termination
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app via Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cellar Sesame is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, loss of revenue, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.
9. Changes and Contact
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. For any questions: support@cellarsesame.com
